Single Baggage is here...

Be informed before checking an extra bag on British Airways flight...or get ready to pay up.

February 13, '07 : British Airways has announced a ONE Baggage Policy with a maximum bag weight of 23kg. Further the cost of checking in an extra bag on a one-way flight will be $235. Even if travelers in economy check-in two pieces of luggage below the weight allowance they will still have to pay for the second bag.

Yet the good news for American travelers... Flights between the U.K. and USA are exempt from the new baggage policy. :)

Spirit, U.S. low-cost airline is leading the way by becoming the first big American airline to charge passengers for checking more than one bag. For a change, an immediate industry matching did not follow as always. But experts are guessing other airlines are to follow...

So need to wonder if.... "Customer still the KING"??? lol....
